LApTOPS

In order to engage in remote school, students will only need to use the laptop they have as part of their normal day at Kent Denver. We ask for all students 6-12 that cell phones and other devices are turned off and out of reach. If you need support with your computer (or access to any of the systems below) email iitsupport@kentdenver.org.

INTERNET ACCESS

In order to participate in our remote classrooms, students will need basic access to the Internet. Should you need support or assistance securing reliable Internet access please email iitsupport@kentdenver.org or call (720) 797-5368 and leave a message.

CANVAS

Students will continue to use Canvas to access all course assignments and recordings of synchronous classes they may have missed. Additionally, they will use Canvas as a primary tool to submit assignments. Students and parents should be able to log in to Canvas with the student's username and password. The URL to login is: http://kentdenver.instructure.com

Zoom

Students and faculty will be using Zoom to gather for class periods, office hours and other synchronous meetings. A student's Google calendar (http://calendar.kentdenver.org) will be customized to have their class period pre-loaded. All they need to do is click the Join Zoom Meeting to be taken to the correct classroom.

For other meetings (office hours, etc) students can go to http://kentdenver.zoom.us and click Join. During office hours, students can join a teacher's meeting room by entering their user id (e.g. mehrenfried). If they have been given a different 9-10 digit numeric id code, they may enter it here as well to join a meeting.

EMAIl

Students should check their email on a daily basis. During the school week, they should reply to emails from teachers, group partners and administrators within 24 hours. Students can access their email at http://gmail.kentdenver.org.

MYSCHOOLAPP (BLACKBAUD)

Grades and attendance can still be found using Blackbaud. The URL to acccess Blackbaud is http://kentdenver.myschoolapp.com
